Bengals @ Bills: (Bills -6, O/U 49)
Call your family and tell them you love them because when Damar Hamlin walks out, the Stadium will rock so hard that it will cause a series of Earthquakes. The first one is going to be in Buffalo, then it’ll trigger the “Big One” on the New Madrid Fault line, which will trigger the Super Volcano under Yellowstone. We’ll all die, but it’s going to be sick.
I’ve been burned by the Bills a handful of times this year and I’ve done really well with the Bengals. That being said, I can’t find myself betting a side on this game.
The Bengals are going through it with their offensive line. They kind of moved past their troubles from last year, but they’re right back in the thick of it right now. Luckily for them, Von Miller is out so it’s not going to be as big of an issue as it would be, but it’s still not great. I think it might be a chore for the Bengals to get those big explosive plays that they capitalized on for the majority of this year.
Luckily for them, Josh Allen has been crazy reckless with the ball. Maybe it’s that UCL injury that he had that’s making it hard for him, maybe it’s something else. But he’s looked like he hasn’t been able to get the zip on the ball as much as he’s wanted and it’s led to some pretty bad-looking interceptions. I don’t like it, but I’m going to count on 1 or 2 of those happening here.
I think the Bengals are going to be able to capitalize on those short fields and get points.
And the Bills? They’ll get their points.

Cowboys @ 49ers (49ers -4 O/U 47)
Transparency: I have mixed emotions about this game. I want Dallas to lose because fuck Dallas, but I also want them to win because if they make it to the NFC Championship game they’ll lose because they played the 49ers the week earlier and teams that play the 49ers are 0-15 the next week. So, if the Eagles win, they’ll have a big advantage.
But doesn’t it seem like the 49ers are getting a little disrespect here? Yeah, the Cowboys beat the doors off of the Buccs last week, but the Buccs were an 8-win team and played like it. The Buccs succed.
I doubted Purdy last week because of the whole rookie thing. In the first half, it kind of looked like we all might have been right about that. And then we were very very hilariously foolishly wrong. The dude turned it on and played his big boi nuts off. He made the right decisions and let the guys that are all-stars do all-star things.
Yeah, this Cowboys' defense is better than the Seahawks’ defense and Dan Quinn is a good Defensive Coordinator, but there are a lot more reasons to have faith in that Kyle Shanahan fella over Quinn.
Also, Jayron Kearse is questionable so if he does play, it’ll be not at 100% and he’s their best DB (Trevon Diggs is butt). And Jason Peters is out, because hey, 41-year-old linemen have the durability of 41-year-old linemen. Bosa feasts.
