‘22-’23 Record: 16-18
It feels like we’ve been trailing by 2 games for a minute now, but I’m not gonna panic. I’m not gonna panic. I’m not gonna panic. We’ve got a lot of better games this week than we did last week, which is directly correlated to the teams that didn’t play last week.
Luckily for us, this Thursday night game is one that we get to go back to a very lucrative well.
Ravens @ Buccaneers (Ravens -1, O/U 45.5)
This Brady guy is a 45-year-old playing like a 45-year-old bag of bones. Dude’s playing with three days of rest. He wasn’t necessarily hit a whole bunch of times on Sunday, but he did throw the ball 49 times. I know he’s got the TB12 thing going on to help him recover and all that shit, but again, he’s 45 years old.
That leads to my other point, which I have and will continue to subscribe to.
He’s so neurotic about his TB 12 shit that it hurts him when he has to play late. He’s 2-9 ATS in Primetime games as a Buccaneer and one of those wins was against the super shitty Giants from last year, so it might as well be 1-9. That’s unbelievably telling.
Yeah, he’s 11-1 ATS as a home dog. That’s something, but who gives a shit. He’s an old guy, and I hate Olds.
Yeah, the Ravens can’t seem to hold onto a lead (except for last week) and that’s frightening, but it doesn’t outweigh that old bag of shit playing like an old bag of shit.
The Buccs just got dick stomped by the Panthers. A lot of people are focusing on the Mike Evans drop, but that would’ve made the game 21-10. That’s still a dick stomping.
