Vikings @ Commanders (Vikings -3, O/U 43.5)
We’ve seen a whole lot of different stuff from these teams.
We’ve seen the Vikings blow out Green Bay. We’ve seen them get blown out by the Eagles. We’ve seen them outlast the Lions. We’ve seen them get lucky with a double doink against the Saints.
We’ve seen the Commanders win shockingly against the Jaguars. We’ve seen them lose hilariously against good teams and bad teams. Then we’ve seen them win with Heinicke.
The point is, that we’ve seen a lot.
I want to bring up the two Heinicke wins against the Packers and the Colts. Those two wins were more statements about how bad the other teams are. They won by 3 total points in those games. They were games where they had to stop two game-ending drives.
Yeah, it’s a two-game win streak for a quarterback who is waaaaaay less terrible than Carson Wentz, but like… I don’t believe in them to stay in a game against a good team.
And the Vikings, they’re a good team.
We get a Kirk Cousins revenge game during the daytime. I’m all in on that and you’d be a fool not to be.
Washington: -3.8 Scoring Margin (+2.7 in the last 3)
Vikings: +4.1 Scoring Margin (+7.7 in the last 3)
Give me Vikings -3.
Chargers @ Falcons (Chargers -3, O/U 49.5)
Justin Herbert is clearly fucked up. Mike Williams is out. Keenan Allen is out. Joey Boas is out. Cordarelle Patterson is IN.
I know that I’ve shitted on the Falcons in the past, but goddammit, they’re going to keep doing the thing that they do, even if it means they get hilariously beaten by the Bengals. They’re going to run the ball.
The Chargers don’t have an offense that can keep up with the Falcons’ dominant time of possession. I don’t just think the Falcons cover this game, I think they win.
Falcons ML.
Rams @ Buccaneers (Buccs -3, O/U 42.5)
Remember before the season when we thought there was a possibility this game was a game of the year type game? We were all so stupid. Instead, this is one of only two late games on a Sunday.
That’s pretty fucked up. This should be buried in the middle of an early slate, then we should take the game film and bury that down in the middle of the Mariana Trench right next to Megatron.
We got the Rams with a -5.6 scoring margin (-5 in the last 3) and the Buccs with a -0.8 scoring margin (-8.3 in the last 3).
I have no idea who will win this game, and I don’t care either. No one cares. It’s just Olds in Tampa and 4 people in LA. This game will suck, and will only get put on Redzone because they legally can’t just show one game. I’m just going to watch the Seahawks/Cardinals broadcast because I would rather watch commercials than have to legally watch any part of this game.
U 42.5
Titans @ Chiefs (Chiefs -12.5, O/U 45.5)
Why are we dogging on Malik Willis? I get he’s a rookie and all, but did we forget that Ryan Tannehill kinda sucks? It’s clear that the Titans don’t want him to throw the ball, but they also didn’t really want Tannehill to throw the ball either. So if you put a more athletic quarterback in, there’s no reason to think he’ll do better with a run-first offense.
Also, 12.5 points? Uh. okay then.
Did we forget that the Titans are on a 5 game-winning streak? Did we forget that they’re winning games the way that they want to win games, by giving the ball to Derrick Henry so he can break off a good run a quarter of the time?
I think we must have.
Sunday Night games have been really low scoring, and on top of that, the Titans always play the Chiefs tough.
So if you’re going to give a live dog 12.5 points I’m going to take them.
Chiefs: Allowing 24.6 points per game. +7.3 scoring margin (+6.0 in the last 3)
Titans: Allowing 19.7 points per game. -.9 scoring margin (+ 6.7 in the last 3)
Titans +12.5.
