Too Early Breakdown: Sky Thomp and Tony Brown

Dolphins @ Bills (Bills -14, O/U 43.5)

I feel like there’s only one play to make here and I hate that. We’ve seen Skylar Thompson and we know what he has to offer. It’s gross.

We know the floor of this Bills team and it’s higher than the Dolphins’ ceiling with Thompson. We’re in the playoffs now, so I’d have to believe that the Bills aren’t going to play at their floor.

Give me the Bills.

Bills -13.54

Giants @ Vikings (Vikings -3, O/U 48)

We’re getting a rematch of a game that was a contender for game of the year? Okay, I’m fine with that.

On Christmas Eve, Greg Joseph ripped a 61-yard field goal as time expired for the Vikings to win in a game where the Giants were pretty dominant. The deciding factor in that game was the Giants turning the ball over twice and having 7 penalties for 63 yards. The Giants played a sloppy game, which is pretty uncharacteristic of them this year.

Kirk is a choke artist and the playoffs are his Sistene Chapel. The one-score game thing has been beaten into everyone’s soul for the past month and a half. We know they are undefeated in one-score games and this certainly has the makings to be a one-score game, but this certainly has the makings for Kirk creating a masterpiece. The Giants blitz like crazy and Kirk has cement feet in the pocket. He’s about to paint the fuck out of a “Creation of Adam”.

Giants +3.

Ravens @ Bengals (Bengals -9, O/U 40.5)

In a game that the Bengals weren’t playing with their whole playbook, they beat the Ravens by 11. That was last weekend.

You can argue that the Ravens weren’t using their entire playbook either, but that’s not because the game was meaningless to them, it was because they literally can’t use it with who they have at quarterback. I don’t care if it’s Snoop or if it’s Anthony Brown, this team plays like garbage without Lamar. I’m ready for them to average 2 yards/run and then try to hit Mark Andrews every time it’s 3rd and 6. It’s gonna be fun to watch.

Until last week, the Bengals had been on a really hot cover streak. They were 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games. I’ve bet the Bengals a lot this season, and I’m going to keep riding them, especially against a team that’s currently helpless on offense.

But 8.5 is a lot. Let’s tease it down.

Cowboys @ Buccaneers (Cowboys -2.5, O/U 45.5)

1. Brady’s never lost to the Cowboys

2. The Cowboys have all-time bad vibes right now. They played their game last week with every intention to win and win big, but they lost to a 3rd string rookie QB in his first start ever.

3. Fuck Dallas.
