Too Early Breakdown: McCorkle

Bills @ Patriots (Bills -4, O/U 43.5)

These guys played each other 3 times last year. There was a game that was either windy, -5 degrees, or both. I don’t really remember. The most notable thing that game was that Mac Jones threw the ball 3 times because the Patriots ran the Bills to death with Damien Harris and the Pats won 14-10. The second time they played the Bills had Cole Beasley and Gabe Davis out, and the Bills won 33-21. The third time they played was in the playoffs and the Bills won 47-17 when they had a perfect offensive game and got touchdowns on every single drive.

The point here is that in order for these Bills to lose to New England, shit has to be pretty much out of their control. This game is going to be 43 degrees and cloudy.

That’s pretty not out of control even a little bit. Hell, Josh Allen might not even have to wear that cool jersey that has that built-in hand warmer pocket. Not really sure why he’s the only player in the league that has that kind of Jersey, but it’s sick.

I understand that the Patriots' defense can be good. It’s kinda been their thing for 20 years.

It’s their offense that is the issue. It’s run by Matt Patricia and Joe Judge. Two guys who are near the top of the list when it comes to doofus NFL coordinators. Pair that off with McCorkle Jones as a quarterback, and I think the Bills should have a fairly easy time keeping the Pats out of the Endzone and winning by at least a touchdown.
