Too Early Breakdown: Hey Raiders, Just Chill Out Man

Raiders @ Rams (Raiders -7, O/U 43)

Are the Raiders trying to do something? If you look at them, it certainly seems like they might be trying to do something. I’m not entirely sure why they decided to start doing something in week 11. I’m no head coach, but if I were them I would have tried to start doing something, I don’t know, in maybe like week 1? Week 2 tops. I would’ve certainly tried to start doing something before my starting quarterback cried on TV. Again, I’m not a head coach, so whatever.

The Raiders are averaging 366.9 yards per game for the whole season. In the last 3 games though? They’re averaging 462.3 yards. SHEESH. That’s 182 on the ground and 280.3 in the air. You look at those same 3 weeks with the Rams, and they’re allowing 98 on the ground and 301 in the air.

Sure does seem like this is a match-up for the Raiders’ offense to kind of just do their thing all over, around, and inside the Rams.

If the Raiders have a weak spot in this game, it’s that their passing D has been not doing great. They’re allowing 314 passing yards in the last 3 games. Will that matter here? Probably not.

It might be Baker 2 days after he opened the playbook, it might be a somewhat injured Wolford, or it might be Bryce Perkins. None of those are scary, they’re actual all kind of really laughable.

What is scary is the Rams have covered all 3 games that have had lines over 6 points. They’re bad, but they might be just good enough to stick around in games.

So you know what we’re gonna do? We’re gonna tease it.

Vikings @ Lions (Lions -2.5, O/U 52.0)

We’re all very confused by this line. So you know what? We’re going to take that line and say “Thank you for getting so high”.

If you’re going to give me Teaser Bait so that I can get more than a touchdown against a team that is very much not definitively better, I’m going to take that. Every time.
