Jaguars @ Jets (Jets -2.5 O/U 36)
Welp, this could’ve been a fun game, but here we are getting all of the winter weather all at once. I guess this game’s not exactly gonna be a winter/cold/snow game like a lot of other games, but it’s going to be windy and rainy as all hell.
Remember back in week 1, when the Bears beat the 49ers? I don’t either, but it happened and it was because the game was being played in a goddamned monsoon. That’s this game.
The Jaguars are 8-6 to the over and they’ve gone over in their last 4 games, and the Jets are 5-9 to the over. These records don’t matter here, because again, this game is going to be incredibly fucked. That being said, the Jets’ defense is going to be in an advantageous spot because the Jags' recent wins have been largely influenced by TLaw’s arm and the Jags' passing game. Yeah, the Jets’ defensive secondary might be their best position group, but the rest of their D is solid as well.
The Jags get to play against Zach Wilson.
No one is going to kick field goals and there’ll be a whole bunch of turnovers on downs.
